Type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with osteoporosis is a systemic bone metabolic disease secondary to diabetes mellitus. The typical feature is increased bone fragility. There may be no obvious clinical manifestations in the early stage.Bone pain and bone deformation may occur in mild cases, and fractures may occur in severe cases. The incidence and morbidity of the disease are increasing every year, placing a heavy burden on the patient's family. At present,a large number of studies have shown that the intestinal flora is closely related to the occurrence and development of many chronic metabolic diseases, including type 2 diabetes, osteoporosis, etc.,and the role of the intestinal flora in the body is related to the role of the“spleen”in the theory of traditional Chinese medicine. There are many similarities in physiological functions,so this article discusses the relationship between the intestinal flora, type 2 diabetes and osteoporosis and the spleen.Provide new ideas for the treatment of type 2 diabetes and osteoporosis.
