摘 要:近年来,沃尔巴克氏体作为一种新型微生物农药,已在世界多地蚊媒疾病流行地区的蚊媒防控现场崭露头角。沃尔巴克氏体在宿主媒介伊蚊体内诱导不育和抗病特性,使其在应用中产生种群压制和种群替换两种不同的防治模式。本文综述了近年世界范围采用这两种防治模式释放人工转染媒介伊蚊(埃及伊蚊和白纹伊蚊)研究转化及现场应用经验,评估在应用中生物安全风险及经济效益,并展望此技术在未来蚊媒疾病防控相关公共卫生领域的应用潜力。The maternally inherited endosymbiotic bacterium Wolbachia has recently emerged as a novel microbial pesticide for mosquito-borne disease control in endemic areas around the world.The ability of Wolbachia to induce conditional sterility and pathogen blocking in mosquitoes enables to development of two different vector control strategies:population suppression and population replacement.This paper describes and discusses these two strategies'translational research and field application in releasing the artificially transinfected Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus in recent decades.Furthermore,the current evidence on the biosafety and economic benefits of the Wolbachia technology is reviewed and the potential of its area-wide application for sustainable vector management of mosquito vectors is highlighted.
