摘 要:在不影响聚磷酸铵(APP)类膨胀阻燃剂TC100阻燃效果的情况下,为提高其耐水性和与聚乙烯(PE)的相容性,采用有机硅烷低聚物硅烷偶联剂(KH6202)对APP类膨胀阻燃剂TC100进行表面改性,再将改性后的TC100用于PE阻燃改性,并通过接触角测量仪、垂直燃烧仪、极限氧指数(LOI)测定仪、傅里叶变换红外光谱(FTIR)仪、扫描电子显微镜(SEM)及万能试验机等对KH6202改性TC100及其阻燃PE的耐水、阻燃、相容性和力学性能进行了表征与分析。结果表明,在表面改性温度为160℃时,添加TC100和KH6202总质量1%的KH6202,TC100水接触角由0°提升到表面改性后的150.0°,且其阻燃PE经恒定湿热加速测试1000 h后未析出,浸水测试后失重率降低到0.21%。表面改性同时改善了TC100和PE之间的相容性,提高了阻燃PE的力学性能,且SEM照片显示,表面改性后的TC100和PE基体相容为一体,未见两者间界面。FTIR分析显示TC100的表面成功改性接枝了KH6202。同时,表面改性后的TC100添加到PE中,阻燃PE经恒定湿热加速和浸水测试后垂直燃烧等级仍可保持V-0级,LOI略有降低。In order to improve the water resistance ammonium polyphosphate(APP)and its compatibility with polyethylene(PE)without affecting the flame retardant effect of APP intumescent flame retardant TC100,organic silane oligomer silane coupling agent(KH6202)was used to modify the surface of TC100,and then the surface modified TC100 was used for flame retardant modi‐fication of PE.The water resistance,flame retardancy,compatibility and mechanical properties of TC100 modified by KH6202 and it flame retardant PE were characterized and analyzed by contact angle meter,vertical combustion meter,limiting oxygen index(LOI)meter,Fourier transform infrared spectrometer(FTIR),scanning electron microscope(SEM)and universal testing machine.The results show that,when the surface modification temperature is 160℃and 1wt%KH6202 of the total mass of TC100 and KH6202 is added,the water contact angle of TC100 increases from 0°to 150.0°after surface modification,and it flameretardant PE don′t precipitate after 1000 hours of steady damp heat acceleration test,and the weight loss rate decreases to 0.21%after immersion test.The surface modification improves the compatibility between TC100 and PE,and improves the mechanical properties of flame retardant PE.The SEM images show that the surface modified TC100 and PE matrix are compatible,and there is no interface be‐tween them.FTIR analysis shows that KH6202 is successfully grafted onto the surface of TC100.At the same time,when the sur‐face modified TC100 is added to PE,the vertical combustion level of the flame retardant PE can still maintain V-0 after damp heat and immersion test,and the LOI decreases slightly.
