摘　　要：结合柏拉图在《理想国》中提出的共同体思想和个人正义观,本文认为分裂的罗马造成了科利奥兰纳斯双面的戏剧形象,狭隘的贵族意识形态决定了他矛盾的参选态度,个人正义的缺失和护国者美德与学养的缺乏则导致了他失败的参选结果。科利奥兰纳斯并不具备担当国家监护者的美德与学养,却希望凭借军功当选执政官,故其参选行为属不义之举,也注定失败。This paper deems that with Plato’s community ideas and personal justice in The Republic as a theoretical tool,the split Rome renders Coriolanus’s double images in face of the patricians and the plebs,the narrow aristocratic ideology determines his contradictory attitudes towards the consul election,and the lack of personal justice as well as the deficiency in the virtue and the corresponding education of a state guardian leads to his failure in the election.Coriolanus does not possess the virtues and political cultivation that a state guardian should possess,whereas he wishes to be elected as consul with his military achievements.Therefore,his participation in the election is unjust and doomed to failure.
