《英译中国现代散文选》中英语惯用法错误例析

摘　　要：一般来说,中译英时,词汇和语法方面的错误往往容易避免。但英语惯用法错误,由于过分规则化(overgeneralization),很有可能会出现在译文中。本文指出《英译中国现代散文选》系列译文中英语惯用法的错误,通过大量实例分析造成错误的原因,并纠正错误的译文。Comparatively speaking,it is easy to avoid making mistakes in vocabulary and grammar when it comes to rendering Chinese into English.However,usage mistakes would most likely occur on account of overgeneralization on the part of a translator.This paper points out some usage mistakes in the series of translated Selected Modern Chinese Essays,makes a detailed analysis of the reasons for these mistakes via a multitude of examples,and corrects the corresponding mistakes.
