《中国图书馆分类法》第五版通用附表应用问题探讨

摘　　要：[目的/意义]反映《中图法》第五版通用附表在主表中的应用现状。[方法/过程]调查和统计“总论复分表”、“世界地区表”、“中国地区表”、“国际时代表”、“中国时代表”应用不规范的问题。[结果/结论]根据通用附表的使用规则,提出对于涉及地区和时代属性的类目,宜在主类目下注释“依世界地区表分,再依国际时代表分”,避免再将依“世界地区表”或“国际时代表”分的结果设置为固定类目的不规范做法,从而有利于提高类目设置的逻辑性和节省分类法的篇幅。[Purpose/significance]The purpose of this article is to reflect the application status of the general schedule in the main table in Chinese Library Classification(CLC)of fifth edition.[Method/process]The quantity of the general schedule in the main table was investigated.[Result/conclusion]According to the usage rules of the general schedule,this study proposes that for the categories involving regional and time attributes.It is appropriate to annotate“according to the world region table,and then according to the international time representative”under the main category,so as to avoid the non-standard practice of setting the results according to the“world region table”or“international time representative”are set as fixed categories.Thus,it can improve the logic of category setting and save the space of classification method.
