数字金融与企业ESG表现:来自中国上市公司的证据

摘　　要：数字金融是数字化技术赋能传统金融的一种新兴金融生态,对微观企业的生产经营乃至可持续发展具有重大影响。基于我国数字经济发展战略,采用2011-2020年中国A股上市公司数据,考察数字金融对企业ESG表现的影响。研究发现,数字金融发展可以促进企业ESG表现更加优秀,这种促进作用主要通过资金支持效应和技术支持效应实现。相比于非国有企业,数字金融对国有企业的ESG表现影响会更加显著;受到相关环境政策约束,数字金融对重污染企业的ESG表现的促进作用更加突出。Digital finance is an emerging financial ecology that digital technology enables traditional finance,which has a significant impact on the production and operation of micro enterprises and even sustainable development.Based on the development strategy of China's digital economy and the data of Chinese A-share listed companies from 2011 to 2020,this paper investigates the impact of digital finance on enterprise ESG performance.It is found that the development of digital finance can promote enterprises*ESG performance to be better,and this promotion effect is mainly realized through the effect of financial support and technical support.Compared with non-state-owned enterprises,digital finance will have a more significant impact on the ESG perfonnance of state-owned enterprises.Constrained by relevant environmental policies,digital finance plays a more prominent role in promoting the ESG performance of heavily polluting enterprises.The above conclusions are not only conducive to guiding digital finance to better serve micro entity enterprises,but also provide empirical evidence for stimulating enterprises to assume social responsibility,stimulating endogenous power and realizing sustainable development of enterprises.
