摘　　要：在有关简·奥斯汀的研究中,很少为人提及的便是她在英国南安普顿的生活和创作。实际上,奥斯汀曾经多次来到这座城市。南安普顿为奥斯汀提供了丰富的学习和创作素材,而奥斯汀也已成为这座城市独特的文化景观,与其城市形象密切相连。详细考察奥斯汀的“南安普顿时光”,不仅能更好地探析奥斯汀的生平与创作,也能够为理解南安普顿的文化景观提供一个不同的视角。Rarely mentioned in studies on Jane Austen is her life and writing in Southampton,England.In fact,Austin comes to the city many times.Southampton provides her with a wealth of learning and writing materials,and Austin is regarded as the city’s unique cultural landscape closely linked to city images.A detailed study of Austen’s“Southampton Time”can not only better explore Austen’s life and creation,but also provide a different perspective to understand Southampton’s cultural landscape.
