摘　　要：陕西是全国板栗栽培面积最大的省份,但其功能和价值一直被严重低估,本文以陕西板栗的资源储量和栽培现状为基础,从国家战略高度、生态建设需求和山区经济发展等3个方面对陕西板栗资源的功能和价值进行了重新评估,强调发展板栗产业要从长计议、全面规划,不应单纯以经济价值去衡量,要全面充分评估其战略、生态和经济价值,正确认识板栗在山区林业建设中的重要地位和作用。Shaanxi is the province with the largest chestnut cultivation area in China,but its function and value have been seriously underestimated.Based on the resource reserves and cultivation status of Shaanxi chestnut,this paper reassessed the function and value of Shaanxi chestnut resources from three aspects:national strategic perspective,ecological construction demand and mountain economic development.It is emphasized that the development of chestnut industry should be considered from a long-term view and comprehensively.Chestnut should not be measured by economic value alone.It is necessary to comprehensively consider the strategic value,ecological value and economic value of chestnut,and correctly understand the important position and role of chestnut in forestry construction in mountainous areas.
