关键审计事项语调可端倪公司财务风险信号?——基于真实盈余管理调节效应研究

摘　　要：以2017—2020年中国A股上市公司为样本,研究关键审计事项整体消极语调与上市公司财务风险的相关关系;探究上市公司管理层真实盈余管理行为对两者相关关系的影响。实证结果表明:关键审计事项整体语调情感越消极,表明上市公司的财务风险越大,两者呈现显著的正相关关系;上市公司管理层真实盈余管理行为会对两者的正相关关系起到负向的调节效应;这一负向的调节效应主要存在于审计师行业专长水平较低、审计客户重要、治理层在上市公司兼任管理职位以及外部监管环境相对宽松的情景下。进一步研究发现,如果客户重要,分析师关注和年报问询函的外部监管治理效应会减弱,管理层真实盈余管理的调节效应依然存在。Taking China’s A-share listed companies from 2017 to 2020 as samples,this paper studies the correlations between the overall negative tone of key audit matters and the financial risk of listed companies.This paper also explores the impact of real earnings management behavior of management in listed companies on the correlations.The empirical results show that the more negative the overall tone of key audit matters is,the greater the financial risk of the listed company is,and there is a significant positive correlation between them.The real earnings management behavior of the management in the listed companies will have a negative moderating effect on the positive correlation.The negative moderating effect mainly exists when the expertise of auditor is low,audit clients are important,the governance layer concurrently holds a managerial position in listed companies,and the external regulatory environment is relatively loose.Further research shows that if the customer is important,the external governance effect of analyst attention and annual report inquiry letter will be weakened,and the moderating effect of management’s real earnings management still exists.
