中西医结合专业研究生对专业英语教学需求的调查分析

摘　　要：目的了解中西医结合专业研究生对专业英语的需求,为中西医结合专业英语教学改革提供参考依据。方法自行设计调查问卷,以大连医科大学中西医结合学院2017级与2018级中西医结合专业研究生共计58人为调查对象,了解其对专业英语课程的需求及意见。结果中西医结合专业研究生自评结果中专业领域应用医学专业英语占48.3%(28/58)、常常用占22.4%(13/58)和从未用过专业英语占1.7%(1/58);在近期对外语的需求过程中,选择在外文杂志发表研究成果占67.2%(39/58)、流利交际占51.7%(30/58)、国际学术交往占46.6%(27/58),阅读专业文献占100%(58/58);在对专业英语教学的评价反馈中,明确专业英语教学的重要性并认为其亟待加强占79.3%(46/58),另有认为需要改革占20.7%(12/58)。结论中西医结合专业研究生对专业英语课程的重视度较高,但学习效果不好,为满足中西医结合研究生对专业英语的需求,需进行中西医结合研究生专业英语教学改革,提高中西医结合研究生的专业英语及国际交流对话能力。Objective To understand the requirement of professional English for postgraduates and to provide reference for teaching reform of professional English of integrated medicine.Methods Questionnaires were designed and a total of 58 postgraduates majoring in integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine from School of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine of Dalian Medical University in 2017 and 2018 were surveyed.Results In the self-evaluation results of graduate students majoring in integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine,applied medical English accounted for 48.3%(28/58),frequently used medical English accounted for 22.4%(13/58),and never used professional English accounted for 1.7%(1/58).In the process of recent foreign language demand,67.2%(39/58)chose to publish research results in foreign language magazines,51.7%(30/58)chose fluent communication,46.6%(27/58)chose international academic communication,and 100%(58/58)chose to read professional literature.In the evaluation and feedback of professional English teaching,79.3%(46/58)identified the importance of professional English teaching and thought it needed to be strengthened,while 20.7%(12/58)thought it needed to be reformed.Conclusion Postgraduates majoring in integrated medicine pay more attention to professional English courses,but the learning effect is not ideal.In order to meet the needs,the teaching reforms should be carried out to improve their professional English and international communication ability.
