摘　　要：埃里克·桑德奎斯特致力于从非裔文学传统中挖掘当代多元文化的基础,被视为美国多元文化论的旗手,也是世界文学中族裔批评的重要推手。他的研究坚持跨界、多元与差异的信条,注重协调传统与现代、全球与地方、民族与世界的关系,使族裔研究成为世界文学的重要拼板。与此同时,他大力倡导的“流散美学”,立足于世界主义和多维取向,成为继“综合诗学”“黑人美学”和“重建诗学”之后世代递嬗的新典范,持续为世界文学的全球复兴提供动能。Eric Sundquist,as a standard-bearer of American multiculturalism and a main promoter of ethnic criticism in world literature,is committed to exploring the basis of contemporary multiculturalism through the tradition of African American literature.Adhering to a series of credo reprented by boundary-crossing,pluralism and difference,he not only coordinates the relationship between tradition and modernity,between globalization and localization,and between nations and the world,but also integrates ethnic studies and world literature.In the meantime,Diaspora Aesthetics,established upon cosmopolitanism and multi-dimensional orientation,has risen as a new paradigm of generational shift after Integrationist Poetics,the Black Aesthetics and Reconstructionist Poetics,which continues to provide impetus for the global revival of world literature.
