MoDTC对发动机油抗氧化性能的影响

摘  要:二烷基二硫代氨基甲酸钼(MoDTC)具有良好的摩擦学特性而在发动机油中被广泛应用以提高发动机油的燃油经济性,但对发动机油的抗氧化性能有一定的影响,为此就MoDTC对发动机油抗氧化性能的影响进行了考察。借助于热管氧化模拟试验,在170℃下通过测定含不同加剂量MoDTC发动机油热管氧化试验后的100℃运动黏度,戊烷不溶物,氧化值,酸值及总碱值等的变化来考察发动机油的抗氧化性能。热氧化144 h后,低加剂量MoDTC(0.05%质量分数及以下)发动机油的100℃运动黏度的变化不超过8.0%,戊烷不溶物不超过0.02%,氧化值没有超过41.2 A/cm,酸值增幅未超过251%,总碱值下降幅度未超过67.46%。而高加剂量MoDTC(0.15%质量分数)发动机油的100℃运动黏度的增幅达到了277.2%,戊烷不溶物增加到了5.82%,氧化值到达了60.6 A/cm,酸值增幅高达464%,总碱值下降幅度为69.01%。高加剂量MoDTC会使发动机油的抗氧化性能变差,而低加剂量MoDTC发动机油仍具有良好的抗氧化性能。因此在研发节能型发动机油时应关注MoDTC的加剂量,平衡设计配方以兼顾发动机油的燃油经济性和抗氧化性能。Molybdenum dialkyl dithiocarbamate(MoDTC)had good tribological characteristics and was widely used in engine oils to improve the fuel economy of engine oils.However,it had certain influence on the oxidation resistance of engine oils.Therefore,the influence of MoDTC on the oxidation resistance of engine oils was investigated.With the aid of thermal tube oxidation simulating test,the oxidation resistance of engine oils was investigated by measuring the changes of 100℃kinematic viscosity,pentane insoluble matter,oxidation value,acid number and total base number after thermal tube oxidation test of engine oils containing different dosages of MoDTC at 170℃.After 144 h of thermal oxidation,the change of 100℃kinematic viscosity of low dosage MoDTC(0.05%mass fraction and below)engine oils was not more than 8.0%,the pentane insoluble matter was not more than 0.02%,the oxidation value was not more than 41.2 A/cm,the increase of acid number was not more than 251%,and the decrease of total base number was not more than 67.46%.However the 100℃kinematic viscosity of engine oils with high dosage of MoDTC(0.15%mass fraction)increased by 277.2%,pentane insoluble matter increased by 5.82%,oxidation value reached 60.6 A/cm,acid number increased by 464%,and total base number decreased by 69.01%.High dosage of MoDTC would make the oxidation resistance of engine oils worse,while low dosage of MoDTC engine oils still had good oxidation resistance.Therefore,when developing energy-saving engine oils,the dosage of MoDTC and balance of the formula design should be paid attention to in order to take into account the fuel economy and anti-oxidation performance of engine oil.
