集体主义文化视域下的大学校长角色新定位

摘　　要：大学校长角色定位关乎大学治理现代化建设的持续推进。对于大学委托者而言,大学校长可能表现为“代理人”角色,也可能表现为“管家”角色。大学委托者和大学校长之间的关系是双方认知的博弈过程,其结果对双方的行为将产生重大影响。在中国特定的文化内核和制度演变背景下,大学校长更加突出地表现为“管家”角色。信任是大学校长“管家”角色产生的首要条件,也是集体主义文化的核心要素。长期浸润在集体主义文化中的大学校长,更加强调集体利益,其合作主要以加强情感和精神福利来做对大学发展有意义的事为导向。The role of university president is related to the continuous advancement of the modernization of university governance.For the university principal,the university president may act as an“agent”or as a“steward”.The relationship between the University Principal and the university president is a cognitive game process,and its result will have a significant impact on the behavior of both sides.University President plays a more prominent role of“steward”under the background of China’s specific cultural core and institutional evolution.Trust is the primary condition for the role of“steward”of university president,and it is also the core element of collectivist culture.University president,who has long been immersed in collectivist culture,puts more emphasis on collective interests,and his cooperation is mainly guided by strengthening emotional and spiritual welfare to do something meaningful to the development of the university.
