摘　　要：习近平总书记提出必须从中华民族伟大复兴的战略高度把握新时代党的民族工作的历史方位。铸牢中华民族共同体意识是新时代民族工作的主线和总纲,因而也是新时代党的民族工作的重心。本文拟以历史政治学的方法论,从中国历史发展尤其是近代以来中华民族自醒自觉的维度探寻铸牢中华民族共同体意识在中华民族伟大复兴中的历史方位,提炼出新时代铸牢中华民族共同体意识的重大意义和基本思路。鉴往知来,以历史的主动精神,更好地认识当下,开创未来,充分发挥铸牢中华民族共同体意识对中华民族伟大复兴进程的推动作用。President Xi Jinping has pointed out that the historical position of the Party’s ethnic work in the new era must be understood from the strategic perspective of national rejuvenation.As the main task of ethnic work,fostering a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation takes priority in the Party’s work related to ethnic affairs in the new era.Based on the methodology of historical politics,this paper explores the historical position of fostering a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation in the cause of national rejuvenation,from the perspective of Chinese history especially in the dimension of the selfconsciousness of the Chinese nation aroused in modern times.Meanwhile,it also distills the significance and basic approach of the creation of this national identity in the new era.A review of the past can light the way forward.Therefore,it’s important to properly understand the current situation for a better future with great historical initiative,and fully leverage the role of fostering a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation to achieve the national rejuvenation.
