谷草作为粗饲料在畜牧生产中的应用

摘　　要：谷子(粟)具有耐贫瘠、高产、节水、抗旱等特点。谷子收获籽实后的干秸秆(谷草)粗蛋白质含量较高,为6.22%~7.35%,蜡熟期全株谷草粗蛋白质含量更高,为11.99%~13.34%,营养价值接近苜蓿,产量显著优于苜蓿。研究表明,用全株谷草或干秸秆代替某些常规饲料原料饲喂草食动物具有很好的效果。本文综述了谷草(全株或干秸秆)在畜牧生产中的应用,以期为谷草的进一步开发利用提供参考。Millet(Setaria italica)have the characteristics of barren-tolerant,high-yielding,water-saving and droughtresistant.The crude protein content of the dried straw(millet grass)is high after harvest,about 6.22%~7.35%,and that of the whole plant millet straw is higher at the wax ripening stage,about 11.99%~13.34%,Its nutritional value is close to alfalfa,and its yield is significantly better than alfalfa.Studies have shown that feeding cattle,sheep and other herbivores with whole plant millet straw or dried straw instead of some conventional feed ingredients has a good effect.In this paper,the application of whole plant millet straw or dried straw in animal husbandry production is reviewed,in order to provide a reference for the further development and utilization of millet grass.
