论中国当代小说插图与空间记忆——以《赤脚医生万泉和》为中心

摘　　要：“自说自画”堪称中国当代小说的一道亮丽的风景,例如范小青在创作《赤脚医生万泉和》的过程中,绘制了“表述时间变化”的空间示意插图,呈现出耐人寻味的文学形式。这些插图绝非装饰或者附属品,而是与小说的叙事融为一体。“我家院子”的空间记忆激发小说创作,记忆的空间属性决定作家采用“立铺讲唱”的传统,并将医疗站的面积、位移线索与小说主旨结合起来。但作家个人记忆的介入,导致赤脚医生历史的文学书写存在诸多叙事矛盾与间性。这些间性遗留在小说与插图之间、特别是小说内部,一方面澄明万泉和无法自为地认识赤脚医生,另一方面又展现出后窑的集体力量,挟裹着万泉和不得不做赤脚医生的“非自由状态”。In the process of creating The Barefoot Doctor Wan Quanhe,Fan Xiaoqing also drew schematic illustrations of space that“represent the changes in time”,presenting an intriguing literary form.These illustrations are by no means decorations or appendages,but are integrated with the narrative of The Barefoot Doctor Wan Quanhe.The spatial memory of“My Yard”inspired Fan Xiaoqing to create,and the spatial attributes of the memory determined that the writer adopted the tradition of“speaking and singing along with pictures”and combined the area and displacement clues of the medical station with the theme of the novel.However,the intervention of the writer’s personal experience has resulted in many inter-narratives in the literary writing of the barefoot doctor’s history,which remains between the novel and the illustrations,and even within the novel.On the one hand,it clarifies that Wan Quanhe is unable to understand the Barefoot Doctor by himself.On the other hand,it shows the collective power of Houyao,which makes Wan Quanhe have to be a barefoot doctor in a“non-free”state.
