土登尼玛对藏学研究和藏文化传播的贡献  

A Study on Thubten Nyima’s Contribution to the Tibetan Studies and the Dissemination of Tibetan Culture

摘　　要：本文从生平和学术两个视角探讨著名藏学家土登尼玛对藏学研究和藏文化传播的贡献,首先从三个方面揭示土登尼玛的人生经历,然后从七个方面探讨其对藏学研究和藏文化传播的贡献:(一)参与主持编纂《藏汉大辞典》并合作英译;(二)参与主持对勘出版《中华大藏经》(藏文版);(三)主持收集、整理和研究《格萨尔王传》;(四)主持收集、整理和出版藏文典籍;(五)与美国藏学家合作开展藏传佛教典籍数字化项目;(六)倡议开展《中华大典·藏文卷》编纂出版项目;(七)主持藏文《大藏经》翻译项目。From the perspective of Thubten Nyima’s life experiences and academic career,this paper highlights his contributions to Tibetan studies and dissemination of Tibetan culture.First,three phases of his life are discussed;then,his contributions to Tibetan studies and Tibetan culture are probed from the following seven aspects:participating on the compilation of the Tibetan-Chinese Dictionary and cooperating its English translation;involved in the collation of the A Collection of China’s Buddhist Classics,the Tibetan language version;presiding over the collection,collation and study of The Biography of King Gesar;presiding over the collection,collation and publication of the canonical texts of Tibetan language;collaborating with American scholars Gene Smith of Tibetan study in digitizing Tibetan Buddhist canonical texts;proposing compiling and publishing the Chinese Canon:Tibetan Part;and conducting the translation of A Collection of Buddhist Classics.
