Preliminary Report on Panthera pardus Monitoring in Foping National Nature Reserve Based on Infrared-Triggered Camera-Traps

摘  要:陕西佛坪国家级自然保护区内布设98台红外相机,采用2020年3月至2021年2月红外相机数据分析了研究区内豹的分布和活动节律。红外相机累计有效工作日23252 d,共48173个照片或视频文件。豹独立探测次数为12次,相对多度指数是0.0516;豹年活动高峰是3、4月份,日活动强度从15:00开始逐渐活跃,一直持续到21:00。研究结果为进一步开展秦岭地区豹及其同域野生动物的保护和研究提供了初步资料,对全面了解秦岭地区豹的生态习性及其栖息地研究有参考意义。Between March 2020 and February 2021,ninety-eight infrared-triggered camera-traps were installed in the Foping National Nature Reserve,Shaanxi Province to monitor Panthera pardus and other wildlife.A total of 23252 camera-days of data were collected,including 48173 photos and video clips.The effective number of Panthera pardus samples collected by the infrared-triggered camera-traps was 12,and the calculated relative abundance index(RAI)for this species was 0.0516.The analytical results indicate that the annual activity peaked in February and March.The daily activity is gradually active from 15:00,and it continues until 21:00.This study provides preliminary information for further protection and research of Panthera pardus and the other wildlife,which could be utilized to comprehensively learn the ecological characteristics and study Panthera pardus habitat.
