摘　　要：习近平总书记指出:“历史文化是城市的灵魂,要像爱惜自己的生命一样保护好城市历史文化遗产。”2022年,中共青岛市委市政府提出,要把历史城区保护更新工作作为城市更新和城市建设三年攻坚行动的“一号工程”和系统工程去推进。谈到“历史城区保护更新”,就不得不谈青岛的中山路。这条深深刻进青岛人基因里的老路,有着说不完的故事……Qingdao Zhongshan Road was first built during the German occupation period.After being renamed several times,it was changed back to its original name which is used till today.In fact,today's Qingdao Zhong-shan Road includes not only Zhong-shan Road,but the area called"Shangjieli"by the natives in Qing-dao.From the German occupation period at the end of the 19th cen-tury to the time when the Qingdao municipal government moved east-ward in the 1990s,the Zhongshan Road area remained the political,economic and cultural center,as well as the most prosperous commercial center of Qingdao.
