摘 要:俄罗斯经典长篇小说起始于普希金,这一定论并非不可商榷。现代长篇小说成为文学主导体裁后,整个文学都受其影响而发生“长篇小说化”倾向。文艺复兴时期以来西欧现代长篇小说得到形成与发展,其成果被普希金所吸纳,在他的抒情诗、短篇小说集、叙事长诗等创作中都体现出“长篇小说化”倾向,他也因此成为《当代英雄》《死魂灵》“瓜熟蒂落”的直接先驱。“长篇小说化”不但是文学创新的强大动力,也是20世纪社会文化的普遍存在形态。The conclusion that A.S.Pushkin was the first to write a classic Russian novel seems still open to further discussion.Since modern novel became the dominant literary genre,the entire modern literary creation,under its inevitable influence,was drawn into the tendency of“novelization”.The achievements gained from the formation and development of modern western European novels since Renaissance were absorbed by Pushkin in his literary creation,which is manifested in a way that all of his lyrics,short fictions,and long narrative poems are“novelized”.Pushkin is therefore considered as the herald of the“natural fruition”of such distinguished novels as A Hero of Our Time by M.Y.Lermontov and Dead Souls by N.V.Gogol.“Novelization”is not only a powerful driving force for modern literary creation,but also a universal form of socio-cultural being in the 20th century.
