美国公众对于中国科学形象认知的实证调查分析

摘　　要：本文就中国科学形象的国际公众认知问题,对1030名美国公众进行了在线问卷调查。调查结果在明确科学形象与国家形象的正向相关关系基础上,进一步展现了美国公众认知体系中对于中国科学形象认知的一系列特征:相较于整体国家形象,中国科学形象有着更为正面的评价、中国科学有着显著的国际影响力;美国公众对于中国科学的发展与现状并不十分了解,且倾向于了解与其日常生活关联更为密切的科技领域;在获取中国科学信息的渠道方面,美国公众主要依赖西方媒体等。总体上,美国公众眼里的中国科学形象呈现出强政治导向、功利主义、以牺牲生态环境为代价、效益分布不公与创新、前沿、有效带动经济发展等正负面特征交织的复杂形象。整体而言,美国公众对于中国科学的研究维度更倾向于呈现正面认知,而对于中国科学的社会维度或对社会产生的影响维度则更倾向于给予负面评价。基于此项调查,本文提出推动国家科学形象建设的相关建议。Through an online survey of 1030 American publics on China's national science image,this study firstly to clarifies the positive correlation between the American public's perception of China's science image and its perception of China's overall national image.The research results further show a series of characteristics of the image of Chinese science in the American public recognition system,for example,compared with the overall image of the country,the image of Chinese science has a more positive evaluation;Chinese science is considered to have significant international influence;The American public is not very familiar with the development and current situation of Chinese science and tends to understand the scientific and technological fields that are more closely related to their daily lives;In terms of access to Chinese scientific information,the American public relies more on Western media and so on.The image of Chinese science in the eyes of the American public is an image of strong political orientation,utilitarianism,at the expense of the ecological environment,and positive and negative characteristics of innovation,cutting-edge,and effective economic development.Based on the survey,this article puts forward relevant suggestions to promote the construction of China s national scientific image.
