摘　　要：良性前列腺增生(BPH)是中老年男性的多发病,睾酮治疗(TTh)在近年来逐渐被用于男性晚发性性腺功能减退,但是对于TTh的安全性包括可能会增加BPH的患病风险还存在一定争议。本文综述了睾酮和睾酮替代治疗(TRT)与BPH的关系,对下尿路症状(LUTS)作用效果以及与代谢综合征(MetS)的密切关系的研究进展。大量研究证据表明,TTh对BPH的影响也许可以用雄激素饱和理论来阐释,TTh可能会使LUTS得到改善并且减轻与MetS相关的促炎症因素。也就是说,近年来的研究中出现了大量证明睾酮有益作用而与过去观点不同的研究结果。Benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH)is a common disease in the elderly population.The use of testosterone therapy(TTh)for late-onset hypogonadism has increased in recent years.However,there is controversy about the safety of TTh,including its potential to increase the risk of BPH.This paper reviews the research progress on the relationship between testosterone replacement therapy(TRT)and BPH,its effect on lower urinary tract symptoms(LUTS)and its association with the metabolic syndrome(MetS).A large body of evidence suggests that the effects of TTh on BPH may be explained by the androgen saturation theory,and that TTh may improve LUTS and reduce the pro-inflammatory factors associated with MetS.In other words,recent studies have produced a number of findings that demonstrate the beneficial effects of testosterone in contrast to the previous view.
