摘　　要：厦门第二东通道工程连接厦门本岛和翔安区,项目设计中充分考虑厦门交通路网规划和建设条件要求,采用高速公路标准兼具城市道路功能,以隧道结构方案穿越岛内老城区,以桥梁方案跨越厦门东部海域,桥梁建设借鉴了境内外先进经验和理念,解决了本岛-翔安-新机场的交通需求,同时为厦门增加一个新的地标建筑。The Xiamen Second East Passageway project connects the main island of Xiamen and Xiang’an District. In the design of the project, based on full considerations on the requirements of Xiamen traffic network planning and construction condition, the project is designed as expressway standard with urban road functions, which passes through the old urban area of the island through tunnel structure and crosses the sea area in the east of Xiamen by bridge solution. The construction of the bridge refers to some global advanced experience and ideas, and consequently the traffic demand of the main island-Xiang’an-new airport is satisfied, at the same time, a new landmark building will be added for Xiamen.
