摘 要:新形势下,国际国内面临碳达峰、碳中和“双碳”目标的实现,可持续能源利用和基础设施建设,生态环境保护等方面的挑战,这也给了环境岩土工程领域新的机遇。对于环境岩土工程领域学者和从业者,如何通过创新和学科交叉的合作和努力,从理论、技术、管理、实践等方面应对这些新的挑战,并化挑战为机遇,是亟需厘清的重点。由国际环境岩土工程学会(ISEG)主办,南京大学承办的“新形势下环境岩土工程的机遇和挑战”研讨会于2021年7月13日至14日顺利召开。本次研讨会显示近年来国内外环境岩土工程研究工作取得了很多新进展:①“双碳”目标引领环境岩土工程发展;②生态环境保护与地质灾害防治日趋重要;③新兴技术助力环境岩土工程上新台阶。未来的研究趋势包括:①环境岩土低碳技术研发与应用;②绿色生态修复及高效灾害预防;③基于新兴技术的深度学科交叉。The world is facing new challenges in reaching carbon neutral targets,advancing sustainable infrastructure,solving pollution problems,etc.,which offers“environmental geotechnology”new opportunities.Novel and interdisciplinary efforts are required for sustainable development.The 2021 International Symposium on Environmental Geotechnology was successfully held by Nanjing University on July 13-14.The theme of the symposium this year is“New Challenges and Opportunities in Environmental Geotechnology”.Invited speakers presented the recent developments in theories,technologies,managements,and practices in environmental geotechnology,aiming to help deal with the worldwide new challenges.It can be found through the symposium that a range of new research progress in environmental geotechnology has been achieved recently,including:①The carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals are significantly influencing the research development;②The protection of eco-system and environment,and the prevention of geohazard are becoming increasingly important;③Emerging technologies are aiding the development of environmental geotechnology.Future research trends in environmental geotechnology can be summarized as:①The development and application of low-carbon technologies;②Green remediation of eco-system and environment,and high-efficient geohazard prevention;③Deep interdisciplinary research based on the emerging technologies.
