摘　　要：当代美国剧作家爱德华·阿尔比在《动物园的故事》中以都市公共空间为背景,聚焦都市公共空间的冲突与反抗。该文从空间视角出发,深入挖掘《动物园的故事》中都市公共空间隐含的文化内涵。该文认为,貌似人人共享的都市公共空间,却充斥着不同阶层之间错综复杂的矛盾冲突,在这样一个饱含高度话语权的公共区域,底层人群的反抗显得苍白无力。Contemporary American playwright Edward Albee sets The Zoo Story in urban public space,focusing on the conflict and rebellion between different classes.This article attempts to explore the cultural implications in The Zoo Story from a spatial perspective.The author argues that the urban public space which seems to be shared by everyone is full of intricate contradictions between different classes.It is enveloped with power discourse,and the rebellion of the underprivileged group is doomed to failure.
