摘　　要：广东经济发展不均衡问题突出,识别影响广东各城市经济差距的深层次因素,对制定和落实各项经济政策意义重大。本文计算了广东省21个地级市两两之间共计210对城市的方言距离,考察方言距离对广东经济差距的影响。实证研究结果表明,方言距离对经济差距有显著的正向作用,即方言距离越大,城市间的经济差距越大,且拉长时间跨度后作用仍然显著。进一步收集数据考察方言影响经济的作用机制后发现,技术、劳动力流动和产业结构分别起到一定的中介作用。The economy of Guangdong is imbalanced between regions,and to uncover the underlying reasons for economic disparity is important for policy making and implementation.This article calculates the dialect distance between every two of the 21 prefecture-level cities in Guangdong,and investigates the influence of dialect distance on regional economic disparity.An empirical study shows that dialect distance has an obvious positive effect on regional economic disparity,that is,the bigger the distance,the bigger the disparity,which is unaffected by time span.Further data show that technology,labor mobility and industrial structure have some mediating effect on the economy-affecting mechanism of dialects.
