摘　　要：《文明的逻辑》一书摆脱过度重视经济增长的窠臼,将风险应对力视为和生产率同等重要的维度,揭示出为“工业革命”光芒所遮掩的精彩纷呈的文明变迁。在解释路径上,作者兼采理性选择、演化、历史叙事等多元逻辑,来说明不同文明中文化与组织对各种外生或“人造”风险的应对。不过,它们是否可构成统一的理论框架,还需探讨。此外,本书也尝试从风险或不确定性出发对各类组织的内部逻辑进行经济解释,但对国家的讨论相对薄弱。The Logic of Civilization departs from an overemphasis on economic growth and treats risk response as an equally important dimension as productivity,revealing the splendid changes of civilization hidden by the light of the"Industrial revolution".By way of explanation,the author applies multiple logics,such as rational choice,evolution,and historical narrative,to explain how cultures and organizations in different civilizations respond to various exogenous or"man-made"risks.However,whether these explanations can constitute a unified theoretical framework remains to be explored.In addition,the book attempts to provide an economic explanation of the internal logic of various organizations in terms of risk or uncertainty,but the discussion of state is relatively weak.
