摘　　要：基于地图符号的视觉变量对ArcGIS、Illustrator、MapGIS、SuperMap和QGIS 5种常用的GIS制图软件进行应用研究,分析比较了5种软件在符号设计方面的特点,总结归纳了上述制图软件的符号设计应用现状,并进行实验验证,集成GIS制图软件的优势,为下一步空间分析与GIS制图软件的开发与发展提供了一定的参考。Based on the visual variables of map symbols,this paper conducts application research on five commonly used GIS cartographic softwares of ArcGIS,Illustrator,MapGIS,SuperMap and QGIS,analyzes and compares the characteristics of the five softwares in symbol design,and summarizes the current situation of symbol design and application of the above-mentioned cartographic software and carries out experimental verification,integrating the advantages of GIS cartographic software,providing a certain reference for the development and development direction of spatial analysis and GIS cartographic software in the next step.
