Objective To evaluate the intervention effect of risk grading management based on nomogram on antibiotic related diarrhea in inpatients. Methods A total of 588 inpatients treated with antibiotics in the respiratory department wards of a tertiary general hospital were selected as the study subjects. 293 patients admitted from July 2020 to April 2021 were selected as the study group, and 291 patients admitted from January to September 2019 were selected as the control group. Compared the effect of grading management based on risk assessment on the incidence of antibiotic related diarrhea in patients. Results The incidence of antibiotic related diarrhea was 3.75% in the study group and 11.34% in the control group. The incidence of antibiotic related diarrhea in low-risk patients was 2.73% in the study group and 8.24% in the control group. The incidence of antibiotic related diarrhea in high-risk patients was 10.81% in the study group and 45.83% in the control group. The differences were statistically significant(p<0.05). Conclusion Grading management based on risk assessment can effectively reduce the occurrence of antibiotic related diarrhea in inpatients.
