摘　　要：常州是一座历史悠久的文化古城,有3200多年的文字记载史,地处京杭大运河之“津要”。元末明初,常州就有相当数量的回民围寺而居。常州回族的来源与征军签发、仕宦任职和经商迁徙等历史因素有关。随着社会文化的不断创新,常州回民宗教生活和社会生活出现了很大的变迁,常州回民完全融入了汉地社会秩序中。常州回族的历史沿革是中国回族历史发展的一个缩影,回族文化需要在发展中自我调适,这是回族文化可持续发展的必然要求。Changzhou is an ancient cultural city with a long history.It has more than 3200 years of written history.It occupies an important position in the Grand Canal of Beijing and Hangzhou.During the late Yuan and early Ming Dynasty,large-scale Hui people lived around the monastery in Changzhou.The origin of Hui nationality in Changzhou is related to the issuance of military conscription,official appointment and business migration.With the continuous innovation of social culture,the religious life and social life of the Hui people in Changzhou have undergone great changes.The Hui people in Changzhou fully integrated into the social order of the Han nationality.The historical development of the Hui people in Changzhou is a microcosm of the historical development of the Hui people in China.Hui culture needs self-adjustment in its development,which is an inevitable requirement for the sustainable development of Hui culture.
