摘　　要：中国是一个多山的国家,山地面积占国土面积的2/3。随着铁路交通的发展,大量的隧道工程应运而生。在广表的黄土高原、在峰峦叠障的西南山区、在“世界屋脊”青藏高原,一列列飞驰的火车穿山而过,穿越的不仅是地理上的崇山峻岭,更是“开路先锋”们在隧道科肢创新领域里的“技术高山”。China is covered by many mountains,with the mountainous area accounting for 2/3 of its land area.Developing railway traffic gave rise to a large number of tunnel projects.Trains speed through mountains in the vast Loess Plateau,mountainous Southwest China,and the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau,the“Roof of the World”,as a result of pioneers’efforts in overcoming challenges in tunneling technological innovation.
