摘　　要：历史文化街区的保护是我国历史文化名城保体系中的重要层次和关键内容。北京历史文化街区具有数量众多、资源丰富、类型多样、矛盾复杂的显著特征,基于历史文化街区保护与发展的辩证统一关系基本认识和历史文化街区保护规划实践中鲜明的空间特征和社会属性,本文中城市历史保护思想的发展和历史文化街区保护复兴的相关研究,从社会性可持续发展的视角形成了对北京历史文化街区的保护与发展的思考与建议。The conservation of historical and cultural districts is an important level and key content in China’s historical and cultural city protection system.Beijing’s historical and cultural districts have the significant characteristics of large number,rich resources,diverse types and complex contradictions.Based on the basic understanding of the dialectical and unified relationship between conservation and development,as well as the distinctive spatial characteristics and social attributes in the conservation and planning practice of historical and cultural districts,this paper combines the development of urban historical conservation ideas and related research on the conservation and revival of historical and cultural districts,to form reflections and suggestions on the conservation and development of Beijing’s historical and cultural districts from the perspective of sustainable social development.
