摘　　要：西方民主理论的先天局限性使其无法处理好民主原则、人民精神与民主能力三者之间的关系从而陷入僵局,资产阶级碎片化的民主政治实践又造成西式民主原则再度异化。全过程人民民主是中国共产党民主理论发展历史上的伟大创新,也是人类民主道路上的新成就。从理论构成上分析,在唯物辩证法指引下,全过程人民民主没有顾此失彼,而是实现了全过程原则、人民精神与民主能力三要素的聚合;从表现形式上观察,全过程人民民主实现了全过程原则在政治系统的全领域贯彻,人民精神在社会运转的全方位引领,民主能力在中华民族伟大复兴和人的自由全面发展的全链条培养。The inherent limitations of Western democratic theory make it impossible to deal with the relationship among democratic principles,democratic spirit and democratic ability,and thus make it fall into a deadlock.The fragmented democratic political practice of the bourgeoisie has caused the Western-style democratic principles to be alienated as well. The whole-process people’s democracy is a great innovation in the history of the development of the CPC’s democratic theory,and also a new achievement on the road to human democracy. From the perspective of the theoretical composition,under the guidance of the materialistic dialectics,the whole-process people’s democracy has not attended one thing and lost another,but has realized the aggregation of the three elements of the whole-process principle,people-oriented spirit and democratic ability;from the perspective of manifestation form,the whole-process people’s democracy has realized the implementation of the principle of the whole process in all areas of the political system,the all-round guidance of the people-oriented spirit in the operation of society,and the cultivation of democratic ability in the entire chain of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and the free and all-round development of mankind.
