摘　　要：冲突性磋商话语往往不只由一种模态建构,但鲜有研究深入探索其多模态性。本文针对冲突性磋商话语的多模态设计研究提出了一个分析框架。我们吸取了系统功能语言学和社会符号学的理论精华,并将所建框架用于我国民事庭审案例分析。本框架综合了冲突性磋商话语的语境、语义和词汇语法层的分析,并融入了多模态话语的设计过程和设计理据。此框架为语言磋商框架增添了多模态特征分析,并突显了符号使用者的主体性。通过本研究,我们希望激发更多有关冲突性磋商的多模态研究,并从语言学和符号学视角探索设计理念给冲突性磋商实践提供的启示。Conflict negotiation discourse is normally enacted through more than one mode. But few studies have addressed this issue. This paper proposes an analytical framework for modelling multimodal design in conflict negotiation discourse. We draw ideas from Systemic Functional Linguistics and Social Semiotics and apply this framework to the analysis of conflict in a Chinese civil trial case. The framework developed integrates analyses from the strata of context, discourse semantics, and lexicogrammar, alongside procedures and criteria for the design of multimodal discourse. This adds multimodal features to the linguistic negotiation framework and affords a focus on the agency of sign makers. Our aim is to encourage more studies of conflict negotiation from a multimodal perspective, and explore the linguistic and semiotic implications of the notion of design in conflict negotiation practice.
