摘 要:准确评定护套材料阻燃性能有助于实现对电缆成束燃烧试验结果的精确预判。针对常规氧指数测量方法无法有效对护套材料阻燃性能进行评定,首次引入了UL 94垂直燃烧试验方法。通过对UL 94标准中材料试样垂直燃烧试验方法施焰时间的改进设计,更好地对护套材料的成炭性、引燃时间和自熄性进行了区分。经实际应用证明,10 s/次施焰时间的UL 94垂直燃烧试验方法评定的护套材料阻燃性能结果与电缆成束燃烧试验结果存在明显的对应关系。该试验方法不仅可用于指导护套材料阻燃性能设计和阻燃护套材料选用,也可用于监控阻燃电缆生产过程。The accurate evaluation of the flame retardant performance of sheath materials is helpful to accurately predict the results of cable bundle combustion test. Since the conventional oxygen index measurement method can not effectively evaluate the flame retardant performance of sheath materials, UL 94 vertical combustion test method is introduced for the first time. Through the improved design of the flame application time of the vertical combustion test method of material samples in UL 94 standard, the charring property, ignition time and self-extinguishing property of sheath materials are better distinguished. The practical application shows that there is an obvious corresponding relationship between the flame retardant performance results of sheath materials evaluated by UL 94 vertical combustion test method with 10 seconds each of flame application and the results of cable bundle combustion test. The test method can be used not only to guide the design of flame retardant properties of sheath materials and the selection of flame retardant sheath materials, but also to monitor the production process of flame retardant cables.
