摘 要:本研究采用个案分析法,考察学习者在商务英语视听续说任务中的创造性模仿特征。两名中高级英语学习者在学习一个有关“品牌定义”的英语原声视频后,分别制作完成一个续说短视频,然后填写详细的反思日志。通过多模态数据及反思日志内容分析,研究发现,学生在续说视频中对原视频的词汇、短语、句型结构等语言特征进行了创造性模仿,并在续说内容和视频形式上充分发挥自主性和创造性,对原视频进行了拓展和创新。研究提出视听续说教学建议,旨在进一步提高视听续说教学质量。By adopting the case analysis method,this study is intended to explore learners’creative imitation characteristics in audiovisual-based Business English speaking continuation tasks.After learning an English video on“Brand Definition”,two Chinese intermediate-high-level English learners respectively made a short video as the continuation task and then filled in a detailed reflective journal.Through the multi-modal analysis of the videos and content analysis of their reflective journals,it was found that the students creatively imitated the language features of the original video,such as vocabulary,phrases,and sentence structures in the continuation videos,and gave a full play to their initiative and creativity in the continuation contents and the video forms,thus expanding and innovating the original video.The study put forward some pedagogical suggestions,aiming at further improving the teaching quality of audiovisual-based English continuation speaking tasks.
