摘 要:虹膜具有稳定性及不变形等生理特征,因此虹膜识别技术也被广泛应用于身份确认。针对传统的虹膜定位算法在非理想虹膜图像情况下存在定位稳定性差的问题,提出了基于最大连通区域搜索的虹膜定位算法。首先,采用Otsu(最大类间方差法)对虹膜图像进行二值化处理,通过搜索最大连通区域粗略定位瞳孔;然后,使用Canny算子检测瞳孔边缘并用最小二乘拟合圆精确定位,从而得到虹膜内边界;最后,在精确定位虹膜内边界的基础上使用优化的Hough变换算法对虹膜外边界进行定位。在中科院提供的CASIA-Iris-Twins虹膜库进行实验,结果显示,与传统定位算法得到的虹膜相比,基于最大连通区域搜索的虹膜定位算法得到的虹膜更加准确。对由不同的虹膜定位方法得到的虹膜,采用同一虹膜识别算法进行识别,发现该算法定位的图像在识别时效果明显,并且具有较高的稳定性。Iris has physiological characteristics such as stability and shape invariance, iris recognition technology is therefore widely used in identity verification. Considering the problem of instability of traditional iris location algorithm in the case of nonideal iris image, an iris location algorithm based on maximum connected region search is proposed. Firstly, Otsu(maximum inter class variance method) is used to binarize the iris image, and the pupil is roughly located by searching the maximum connected region. Then, the inner boundary of iris is detected by Canny operator, and the inner boundary of iris is accurately located by least square fitting circle. Finally, the optimized Hough transform algorithm is used to locate the outer boundary of iris on the basis of accurately locating the inner boundary of iris. The algorithm is tested in CASIA-Iris-Twins iris library provided by Chinese Academy of Sciences, the results show that compared with the iris obtained by traditional localization algorithm, the iris obtained by the localization algorithm proposed is more accurate. With the obtained irises from different iris location methods, the same iris recognition algorithm is used to recognize them, it is found that the image located by the algorithm proposed has obvious effect in recognition, and has high stability.
