摘　　要：张园地块曾是旧时上海有名的私家花园,1882年被中国商人张叔和购得,取名“味莼园”,又称“张家花园”。自1885年开园以后的20年中,它一直是上海最大的公共活动场所,曾被誉为“海上第一名园”。1918年,张园作为休闲娱乐场所的历史宣告终结,土地被分割为28块先后出售,由不同的业主开发为住宅,用于自住和出租。至1939年,张园已先后建造起28条石库门弄堂和一些花园洋房。Zhangjia Garden was once a famous private garden in Shanghai.In 1882,it was purchased by Chinese businessman ZHANG Shuhe and named"Weichun Yuan",also known as"Zhangjia Garden",Since its open in 1885.it has been the largest public event venue in Shanghai in the following 20 years and was once known as"the first maritime garden".In 1918,its history as a place of leisure and entertain-ment came to an end.The land was dlvided into 28 parcels and sold successively to different owners for self-occupation and rental.By 1939,Zhangjia Garden had built 28 Shikumen lanes and some gar-den houses,belonging to 28 builders.
