《新刻增补艺苑卮言》伪书考

摘　　要：《新刻增补艺苑卮言》共十六卷,由七卷正文、九卷附录构成,刊刻于万历十七年(1589)。该本内容复杂,性质成谜。在文本细读方法下,十六卷本内部暴露出许多端倪:一方面,序文选删情况、卷帙编排情况、八卷本甲成分只字未改的特殊情况,以及行文中的逻辑衔接不畅、前后文重复、矛盾等情况均将该书的性质指向伪书;另一方面,十六卷本中的《四部稿》本成分多有讹误,不符合王世贞的表述习惯和他的博学身份。因此,十六卷本中的《四部稿》本成分为编纂者根据《四部稿》本删、改而成,排除了编纂者收集《艺苑卮言》过渡性手稿自行编纂的可能。可判定:十六卷本为明八卷本甲与《四部稿》本拼合而成的杂糅本。Published in 1589,the sixteen-volume Xinke Zengbu Yiyuan Zhiyan,whose name means a republished and supplemented version of Yiyuan Zhiyan,consists of the seven-volume main body and nine volumes of appendices.Its content is so complex that the authenticity should be discussed.Under the method of close reading,many clues are revealed:on the one hand,the selection and deletion of parts of the preface,the arrangement of the volumes,the special situation that the contents in the eight-volume version A had not been revised,and the facts of illogical connection in the text,repetition,contradictions,etc.,all point to the nature of the book as a forgery;on the other hand,there are many errors in the“Sibu Gao”in the sixteen-volume version,which does not conform to Wang Shizhen's expression habits and his erudition.Therefore,the“Sibu Gao”in this sixteen-volume version was the result of its compilers'revision and modification according to the“Sibu Gao”version in circulation at that time,which ruled out the possibility that Xinke Zengbu Yiyuan Zhiyan is a compilation of the transitional manuscripts of Yiyuan collected by the compilers.It can be determined that the sixteen-volume version is a hybrid composed of the eight-volume version A in the Ming Dynasty and the“Sibu Gao”version.
