摘　　要：文章从历时分析的视角探讨了学界对隐喻的本质、特征、关注点、研究范围和方法的“沿”与“革”,系统梳理了传统修辞隐喻、认知概念隐喻、多模态隐喻三阶段的理论内涵和发展历程,并指出当前学界隐喻研究在隐喻识别、解读和理论应用三方面的不足,旨在帮助读者对隐喻的历时研究有更好的把握。This paper has synchronically explored the essence,traits of metaphor,and hot issues,research scopes and methods of which academia has focused,carried forward and revolutionized.Following a systematic study on the theoretical connotations and developments of traditional figurative,cognitive,and multimodal metaphors,this paper has pointed out that inadequacies exist in academia for metaphorical identification,interpretation and application,aiming to help readers have a better command of synchronic studies of metaphor.
