摘　　要：吴中伦院士是中国著名林学家、森林生态学家、森林地理学家,长期从事森林生态、森林地理、森林培育等林业科学研究工作,取得了许多开创性成果,为中国林业和林业科技事业的发展做出了重要贡献。系统梳理吴中伦的林业研究历程,对践行“绿水青山就是金山银山”的生态发展理念、推进生态文明建设具有十分重要的现实意义。基于吴中伦的林业著作与学术思想,将其林业研究概括为三方面:一是以中国森林地理研究为基础,形成中国林业区划方案,并在区划研究过程中深化对森林地理分布规律的认识;二是面对中国森林资源的消减形势,提倡造林绿化,合理引入、利用外来树种,保护森林资源,改善生态环境;三是重视森林的生态功能与生态效益,发挥其涵养水源、保持水土、防风固沙、改善城市环境的作用,将中国林业建设划分为山地林业、田园林业和城市林业三大阵地。吴中伦院士的林业研究不仅推动了中国林业科技事业的发展,而且也以大量的林业科技成果启迪、激励后人,对新时代林业与生态文明建设具有重要的启示与借鉴意义。Academician Wu Zhong-lun is a famous forestry scientist,forest ecologist,forest geographer in China.He had long been engaged in forestry scientific research work such as forest ecology,forest geography,forest cultivation,and had made important groundbreaking achievements,making significant contributions to the development of China’s forestry and forestry science&technology.The systematic study of Wu Zhong-lun’s forestry research process is of great practical significance to the implementation of the ecological development concept of“lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets”and the promotion of ecological civilization construction.Based on Wu Zhong-lun’s forestry works and thoughts,his forestry research can be summarized into three aspects:first,based on the study of forest geography in China,the plan of China’s forestry regionalization was formed,and the understanding of the reqularity of forest geographical distribution was deepened in the process of regionalization research.Second,in the face of the reduction of forest resources in China,we should advocate afforestation,reasonably introduce and use exotic tree species,protect forest resources and improve the ecological environment.Third,we should attach importance to the ecological functions and benefits of forests,give full play to their roles in water conservation,soil conservation,wind prevention and sand fixation,and improving the urban environment,and divide mountainous forestry,pastoral forestry,and urban forestry as the three major fronts of China’s forestry construction.Academician Wu Zhong-lun’s forestry research not only promotes the development of China’s forestry science and technology,but also inspires future generations with a large number of forestry science and technology achievements,and has important enlightenment and reference significance for the construction of forestry and ecological civilization in the new era.
