摘　　要：基于生活成本指数视角,利用2002—2009年中国城镇住户调查133个地级及以上城市数据,研究贸易自由化引致的进口关税削减对中国城市生活成本的异质性影响。研究结果表明:中国城市生活成本指数总体上呈上升趋势,但区域差异不明显。贸易自由化会直接降低中国城市消费品和间接降低服务性消费生活成本指数。城市异质性和稳健性检验结果表明,贸易自由化对小城市、高互联网覆盖率城市、中西部城市以及高市场化程度城市的消费福利影响相对更大,某种程度上能有效调整区域差距。研究结论揭示了中国贸易自由化在城市微观层面的利得影响,为实施贸易自由化战略提供了经验证据。Based on the perspective of the cost of living index,this paper investigates the heterogeneous impact of tariffs reduction caused by trade liberalization on the cost of living in Chinese cities,using the data of 133 cities at prefecture-level and above in the Chinese Urban Household Survey from 2002 to 2009.The results show that the aggregate cost of living in Chinese citiesis on the rise,but the regional difference is not obvious.Trade liberalization will directly reduce the cost of living index of tradable goods and indirectly reduce that of services in Chinese cities.The results of city heterogeneity and robustness test show that trade liberalization has a relatively greater impact on the consumption welfare of small cities,cities with high internet coverage,cities in the central and western regions,and cities with high degree of marketization,which can effectively adjust regional disparities to some extent.This studyreveals the impact of trade liberalization on the welfare gain of cities at the micro-level and provides empirical evidence for the implementation of trade liberalization strategy.
