A Study on the Border Financial Opening in Yunnan Province

摘　　要：本文以中国云南省、越南、老挝、缅甸、柬埔寨、泰国、印度、孟加拉国为研究对象,选取地理因素、经济因素和金融因素为研究指标,运用金融开放度、空间自相关方法分析中国沿边金融开放的时空特征。结果表明:(1)云南省沿边金融开放存在明显的时空分异特征:老挝>越南>泰国>缅甸>印度>孟加拉国>柬埔寨;(2)云南省沿边金融开放热点区呈“东热西冷”空间格局,老挝为热点区,越南和泰国为次热点区,孟加拉国为冷点区;(3)老挝、泰国是云南省沿边金融开放的一类区,越南、缅甸是二类区,柬埔寨、印度是三类区,孟加拉国是四类区;(4)双边货币互换协议、外汇储备量、金融机构、经济开放度、双边贸易量、经济发展水平是影响云南沿边金融开放的主要因素。提出以提升贸易投资、优化资源配置、金融机构开放、金融服务创新等建议促进沿边金融开放。Financial opening is an important part of economic opening.This paper taking Yunnan Province and Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia, Thailand, India, and Bangladesh as the research space, selecting geographical factors, economic factors and financial factors as research indicators, using finance openness, and spatial autocorrelation methods analyze the spatial characteristics and spatial pattern of China’s border financial opening.The results show that:(1)The border economic opening of Yunnan Province has obvious characteristics of spatial differentiation: Laos, Vietnam, Thailand, Myanmar, India, Bangladesh, Cambodia.(2)The financial opening hotspots along the borders of Yunnan Province present a spatial pattern of“hot east and cold west”:Laos is a hotspot.Vietnam and Thailand are the sub-hot spots, Bangladesh is the cold spot.(3)Laos and Thailand are the first-class areas with the border financial opening, Vietnam and Myanmar are the second-class areas, Cambodia and India are the third-class areas, and Bangladesh is the fourth-class area.(4)The main factors affecting the opening up of border finance in Yunnan Province include bilateral currency swap agreements, foreign exchange reserves, financial institutions, economic openness, bilateral trade volume, and economic development.This paper puts forward suggestions to promote border financial opening by enhancing trade and investment, optimizing resource allocation, opening financial institutions, and innovating financial services.
