The Variant Characters in Fantasy Novels Cited in Pei Songzhi’s Notes to San Guo Zhi and Taiping Yulan

摘　　要：裴松之《三国志注》征引志怪类著作共7种,与《太平御览》所引对应内容形成大量异文。这些异文形式丰富,有文字上的异体字、通假字、形似而讹字,有词汇上的同义替换词、同义异形词,也有语法上的语序和结构变化等。如“含-灌”表示将水含在口中而喷出,是古代道家、佛家救人治病的常用方式;“捉-投”“蹷-蹙”形似而讹,“使”乃“促”字之讹,从而与“遽”形成同义异文。通过辨析字形、考查词义可以为文献阅读提供正确释读参考,也可以为中古汉语研究补证词义和语料。There are a lot of variant characters in seven fantasy novels cited in Pei Songzhi’s Notes to San Guo Zhi and in Taiping Yulan. These different characters are rich in form. Some are interchangeable, variant, similar but corrupt characters. Some are synonymous substitutive and variant words. There are also grammatical word order reversals, structural changes and so on. Through the analysis of these variant characters, we can supplement the interpretation of word meaning and corpus reference for the study of Medieval Chinese.
