摘　　要：潮汕籍海外作家创作的儿童文学因其独特的地域文化影响,具有区别于其他地区儿童文学的艺术特征。海外潮汕籍作家的儿童文学创作普遍地存在着潮汕文化元素。这些儿童文学作品借助潮汕文化试图形塑海外华人儿童的自我意识和民族认同。同时,多重原因促使了海外潮汕籍作家的儿童文学书写。Children’s literature as created by overseas writers of Chaozhou and Shantou origin is different from those created elsewhere in other regions in terms of its artistic features as a result of their unique regional or cultural influences.Chaozhou and Shantou cultural elements are prevalently present in the children’s literature as created by overseas writers of Chaozhou and Shantou origin.By way of Chaozhou and Shantou cultures,these children’s literary works attempt to shape self-consciousness and national identity for the overseas Chinese children while,at the same time,many different reasons are there that further the writing of children’s literature by overseas writers of Chaozhou and Shantou origin.
