摘 要:通过对行波管周期永磁聚焦系统的研究,设计了适用于短毫米波行波管的双周期永磁聚焦系统,该结构轴向磁场分布中三次谐波对一次谐波占比接近50%,有效上移聚焦不稳定区。通过三维软件CST、OPERA对行波管的电子光学系统进行仿真计算,仿真结果表明双周期结构能够在较大磁场周期下实现电子注的低脉动传输,流通率达到100%,电子注的波动为25%。双周期永磁聚焦系统能够有效扩大聚焦周期,降低聚焦压力。Based on the study on periodic permanent magnet focusing systems of traveling wave tubes(TWTs),a double periodic permanent magnet focusing system for short millimeter wave TWTs is designed.The ration of the third harmonic to the first harmonic in axial magnetic field distribution of the structure is close to 50%,which shifts the beam focusing instable region to high values.The electron optical system of the TWT is simulated by 3-dimensional software CST and OPERA.The result shows that the double periodic structure can realize a small pulsation transmission of electron beam under long magnetic period.The beam transmission reaches 100%,and the fluctuation of the electron beam is 25%.The double periodic permanent magnet focusing system can efficiently expand the magnet period and reduce the focusing restrictions.
