摘　　要：Since its establishment in 1980, Zoological Research(ZR) has continued to strive forward with the enthusiastic and generous support of every author and reader. ZR has been a loyal companion to many generations of researchers and scholars,who have not only witnessed the evolution of ZR, but also devoted themselves to helping ZR grow(Yao & Jiang, 2021).Here, at the beginning of a fresh year, we are honored to have the opportunity to express our deepest appreciation to you all.
