周氏睑虎繁殖生物学研究

摘　　要：目前睑虎属Goniurosaurus物种的研究主要集中在新种命名、分类、系统进化、种群资源等方面,而繁殖生物学方面的报道相对较少。2020年7月—2021年8月对分布在海南岛中部山区的周氏睑虎Goniurosaurus zhoui的繁殖生物学进行调查研究,发现周氏睑虎繁殖期为3—10月,窝卵数1~2枚,每年产卵4~5窝。卵质量、卵长径、卵短径与母体体长和腋跨距存在显著的正相关;窝卵数、窝卵重、繁殖投入、相对窝卵重1、相对窝卵重2与母体体长和腋跨距无显著相关性。结果表明,周氏睑虎卵大小可能受到雌性的生理限制。孵化的平均温度26℃,平均湿度80%,孵化周期61~75 d,出壳时间34~106 min。此外,于2020年8月采用样线法对周氏睑虎的雌雄比、怀卵率等进行了调查,发现雌雄比为1∶1.3,怀卵率为50%。同时发现,雄性的体长、头高、头宽显著大于雌性,头长、吻长、眼耳距、腋跨距在两性间无显著差异,且头部形态特征的两性异形更明显,推测周氏睑虎两性异形的原因偏向于性选择假说。The discovery and nomenclature of new species,taxonomy,phylogeny,population resources,and etc.of Goniurosaurus have been well studied.However,the reproductive biology of Goniurosaurus remains less understood.In this study,the reproductive characteristics of G.zhoui,which is distributed in the central mountainous area of Hainan Island,was investigated from July 2020 to August 2021.The reproductive period of G.zhoui was found to last from March to October,with a clutch size of 1-2 individuals and 4-5 clutches per year.A significant positive correlation was found between egg mass,egg length,egg width,and maternal snout-vent length,axillary groin length,while the clutch size,clutch mass,reproductive investment,relative clutch mass 1,and relative clutch mass 2 were not significantly correlated with maternal snout-vent length and axillary groin length.Furthermore,the egg size of G.zhoui was found to be influenced by physiological constraints.The average hatching temperature was 26℃with average humidity of 80%.The hatching period was found to be 61-75 d,and the egg-breaking time was 34-106 min.An additional survey carried out in August 2020 found that the ratio of females to males was 1∶1.3 and he egg conception rate was 50%.The snout-vent length,head height,and head width were significantly different between the sexes,and the male were larger than the females.No significant differences in head length,snout-eye distance,eye-ear distance,and axillary groin length were found between the sexes.In addition to snout-vent length,the differences between the sexes were mainly concentrated in the head.It is speculated that the reason for sexual dimorphism in G.zhoui is biased towards the sexual selection hypothesis.
