摘  要:Plant tissues and organs are composed of cells surrounded by solid cell walls that cover flexible plasma membranes.The mechanical cues from neighboring cells perceived through the cell wall contribute to plant morphogenesis,including organ growth,development,and regeneration(Trinh et al.,2021).The molecular mechanism linking the perception of mechanical stimuli with the regulation of the responsive gene network that leads to plant morphogenesis remains uncharacterized.Cell wall conformational changes induced by mechanical cues are monitored by a plasma membrane sensor.
